DOUBLE PEN REGISTER AND LISTENING UNIT
(Used for observing telephones)
This device is used by the New York City Police and other law enforcement agencies. It can be used to tap six lines simultaneously. The double pen records the pulses of two dial lines simultaneously. The pulses are registered on a paper tape and the exchange and number called can be easily determined by counting the pulses printed.
The input of the unit is of sufficiently high impedance to permit observing without detection or suspicion. This machine is substantially built, is trouble free in operation and comes completely equipped with six connecting cords and two split sets of ear phones.
